Hi, I’m Melissa.

I’m a neurodivergent + queer-identifying clinical psychologist based in the Pacific Northwest, working with adults and couples across Washington and Oregon via telehealth.

I specialize in the intersection of chronic pain, neurodivergence (ADHD & autism), and intimacy/relationship concerns - especially when symptoms don’t make sense, haven’t responded to standard treatment, or feel deeply tied to stress, identity, or nervous system overload.

Many of the people I work with are insightful, capable, and exhausted. They’ve tried doing “everything right,” yet still feel stuck in pain patterns, emotional shutdown, anxiety, or disconnection - from their bodies, their partners, or themselves.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches like Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed care, but I’m not interested in forcing people into rigid protocols. We work collaboratively, at a pace that respects your nervous system, your autonomy, and your lived experience.

I’m especially attuned to clients who:

  • live in high-functioning, high-masking bodies

  • feel misunderstood by traditional medical or mental health systems

  • want depth, nuance, and honesty — not surface-level coping tips

Outside of therapy, I’m deeply connected to nature, creativity, and movement, and I bring that same respect for rhythm and regulation into my clinical work. I don’t believe healing is about “fixing” you — it’s about helping your system feel safe enough to change.

During our 20-minute consult, I’d love to hear more about what you’re looking for in therapy and/or an evaluation. I’ll also share more about my approach and areas of expertise and answer any questions you may have. We can decide together if we’re a good fit and if not, I’m happy to offer referrals to other providers who may be a better match.

A few important details before we meet:

  1. I am not in-network with any insurance companies. My fee for therapy is $225 per 50-min session. Neurodivergence Evaluations are $1000 for ADHD, $2500 for Autism and $3500 for Combined.

  2. I partner with Thrizer, a service that helps streamline out-of-network billing and can submit claims on your behalf.
